Mental Health

Welcome!

Psychotherapy can provide a supportive, open and non-judgmental space to help you explore, cope, and facilitate healing - contributing to personal growth, self-compassion and a sense of well-being. Whether you would like to address a specific mental health concern, explore a difficult emotion or internal experience, gain perspective and understanding, and/or cope with a challenging situation, relationship, or life transition, connecting with a therapist can be supportive of your personal journey.

What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a general term used to describe a form of treatment that is based on speaking to and interacting with a therapist, where you will work together to relieve distress and commence the process of enhancing your life. You will be encouraged to express your thoughts and feelings, with a view to changing habits and behaviours that may be unhelpful and that create stumbling blocks in your life. Through a collaborative approach, and determining your values and goals, you will learn more adaptive and constructive ways of coping, so that you can gain new skills and begin to work towards solutions.

Successful Psychotherapy

Successful psychotherapy results from a supportive, comfortable relationship with a trusted therapist who is objective, non-judgmental, compassionate and empathetic. We understand that seeking therapy to address your mental health concerns can be a bit intimidating at first. We offer a free consultation to help you gain a sense of ease, and to determine if there is a suitable ‘fit’ with the therapist. Our administrative team will follow up with you after the free consultation to obtain your candid feedback, which is important to us. Remember, there is no need to handle your burdens alone. Take the first step. Call to inquire today.
